Built around the end of the 16th century, the parish church of Sant'Abbondio underwent alterations which modified the original layout, with a single nave and apse covered by a painted vault. The side chapels were added as early as the following century: the one on the right dedicated to the Madonna and the one on the left to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Dating back to at least 1660, it represents almost all of the decorative and pictorial installation: today the original influence of the Moroccan inspiration of the fresco with the Glory of Sant'Abbondio is still visible. Finally, the widening of the apse area dates back to the early 1900s with the addition of two large rooms. Externally, the building has plastered, and painted masonry and the facade is enriched by an architraved porch with serizzo columns and pilasters.
