The small church is of medieval origin but has had many alterations. The current building, consecrated in 1532, is made up of 2 naves and a polygonal presbyteryand has a gabled facade with the entrance in the main nave (the other begins after the space of bell tower). The bell tower has a string course under the belfry and plastered masonry. Finally, the left side of the building has a small sacristy. The main facade is the only one that is plastered and painted. Inside the naves are separated by two arches on pillars andthe niche of the old baptistery carved in the masonry of the bell tower can still be seen on the left of the entrance. Also,on the wall to the left a 16th century fresco depicting the “mystical wedding of Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Nicholas” that came from a walkway in the Noli residence can be seen. The polygonal presbytery harbours an evocative Carrara marble templet, a hexagonal based prism on which the Evangelists are depicted in bas-relief while the main facade bears the door on which the “Resurrection” is depicted. Time of construction: XV – XVI centuries
