This small chapel was built in the early XX century by soldiers who were building the military works of the “Advanced Occupation of the Northern Border” in place of the previous “Madonna di Tassino”that was mentioned in the “Teresiane” maps of the early 1700s. It is located along the road to Mount Casléfrom whichthere is a suggestive panorama of Lake Ceresia. Opposite you can admire the Valsolda and the peaks of the Swiss mountains known as the “DentidellaVecchia” (Old woman’s teeth) and to the right there is Porlezza with the Val di Rezzo and the small Lakeof Piano.
