The parish church of San Benedetto, mentioned as early as 1186 in the last will and testament of a cleric, is an example of Romanesque architecture. In the seventeenth century it underwent changes and was enlarged; among the structural changes attributable to this phase there is that of the bell tower which was raised and equipped with a baroque lantern. The interior of the church, with a single nave, contains interesting works of art including a Renaissance marble tabernacle, the splendid marble inlay altar by Bartolomeo Della Torre, and the fresco on the vault of the presbytery depicting St. Benedict in glory and attributed to Carlo Carloni. The exterior has a baptistery containing an ancient font in white Venetian marble and wooden statues.
